Not all beetroot is created equal. There is nitrate variation within beetroot and nitrate levels were found to depend significantly on the variety of seeds used, agronomic practices, climate and processing conditions. The beetroot used in RedNite® is grown from a consistent seed variety in a specific season and processed within 24 hours of harvest. Controlled farming conditions ensure no bolting of beets and higher yields. A low temperature process optimizes color and importantly, it enriches RedNite® with bioactive anti-oxidants which forms a matrix for optimal utilization of the nitrate and reduce wastage in the "nitrate-nitrite-nitric oxide" pathway.
