Maypro has announced that Sirtmax, a polymethoxyflavonoid-rich ingredient developed by Tokiwa Phytochemical and distributed exclusively by Maypro in the Americas, has been granted a new U.S. patent. Extracted from black turmeric, Sirtmax supports mitochondrial health by enhancing the SIRT1 gene and now has been proven to aid in alleviating dry eye symptoms, particularly benefiting elderly and hyperglycemic individuals. This follows a study highlighting its effects on weight reduction, blood sugar maintenance, decreased AGE production, and potential improvement in arterial flexibility.
