The Sucrosomial® Solution
Sucrosomial® Magnesium is a highly bioavailable sucrosomial complex of magnesium oxide that provides 32% of elemental magnesium, and only 0.36% sucrose. What is a Sucrosome?
Sucrosomial® technology is a process that enrobes magnesium molecules into a sucrosome, a membrane comprised of phospholipids and sucrose ester of fatty acids (sucresters). The sucresters then act as emulsifiers which increases magnesium’s absorption and bioavailability while ensuring a neutral taste and no side effects.
The sucrosome carries the active ingredient through para-cellular and trans-cellular routes all while limiting the traditional barriers of absorption such as gastric acidity, the availability and competition for transporters, or interactions with enzymes and the mucosal lining.

The Research
Observed to have greater absorption into the blood when compared with magnesium citrate, bisglycinate, and oxide.
A one-day double-blinded repeated crossover study showed the variations in the effects of different magnesium administration at 350mg dosages; the magnesium forms tested were Sucrosomial Magnesium, magnesium citrate, magnesium oxide and magnesium bisglycinate. Administration with Sucrosomial Magnesium showed higher magnesium bioavailability to other sources and showed significant increases when compared to magnesium oxide. Sucrosomial Magnesium provided twice as much magnesium increase in the blood than other magnesium salts.
A human clinical study in individuals with proximal femur fractures and hypomagnesemia found that 30-days of exercise and Sucrosomial Magnesium supplementation (375 mg of elemental magnesium) provided a significant improvement in blood magnesium levels, pain reduction measured by the NRS scale, reduced risk of new falls as indicated by the Tinetti test, and improved quality of life according to the SarQoL.
