A University of Texas study reveals that consuming 3g of AHCC, an extract from Japanese shiitake mushrooms, may help clear human papillomavirus (HPV) infections in individuals with persistent cases. This significant finding comes from a double-blind, placebo-controlled trial involving 41 women, showing that nearly two-thirds of participants treated with AHCC became HPV-negative, substantially reducing their risk of developing HPV-related cancers.
